J has been protesting his naps the past couple of days, and this mama is NOT ready to give up that nap right before this baby arrives. So, I looked at the sun shining bright on the snow this morning and decided that we’d be heading outside to burn off as much energy as possible.

While we were eating breakfast, I asked J if he wanted to play outside in the snow, and he started getting down to get his boots on! So, I guess his answer was yes. I’m babysitting A today, and as soon as she got here, J told her how we were going to play outside. She was pretty excited too.

After about 20 minutes of getting us all bundled up in our snow gear, we headed out. There was lots of snow eating, digger playing, falling down and not being able to get up (they are like little marshmallows in their snow suits) and even lawn mowing going on. 😊
We even went for a long walk to see the diggers working on the houses in the back of our neighborhood. We of course had to run up and down the hill a few times too.

J was not ready to go inside, but A was done with the snow and it was getting close to lunch time. So, naturally, I bribed him with hot chocolate and marshmallows. πŸ˜‰
This was the first time I’ve ever made that for them, and they both thought it was the best treat ever!

After lunch, these two got really quiet in the back room as I was cleaning up the kitchen. I walked back into the bedroom to find them like this. They said they were “all cuddled up”. Yeah, they are pretty much the cutest little best friends ever. πŸ’™
They insisted on taking their nap in there (they usually sleep in their own cribs in their own rooms). So, I decided to give them a chance. Needless to say, they were both back in their cribs within about 15 minutes. BUT they both fell asleep within minutes and are still sleeping. Yay for a mommy-win! Happy kids, happy mommy. 😊
