You know those days when you sit back and look at what you have and realize how incredibly lucky you are? Yeah, I had one of those days on Thursday. I planned on writing about it then, but you know, life got in the way.
I woke up to this handsome little man that morning with the sun beaming in the room.
I babysat Little A that day, and I got to watch her and J dance to the music on their toy while I drank my cup of coffee. Not many people’s Thursday mornings are filled with that much cuteness. I just so happened to be drinking out of one of my favorite mugs too.
I love when simple, little things like a coffee mug make you smile. I thought right then there is nothing else I could be doing that would make me happier. When I was debating whether or not to go back to work after J was born and the opportunity came up to babysit, it just felt right. Sure, I have difficult days, but days like Thursday seem to wash those bad days away.
So, here is to appreciating the blessings you have in your life, and to working towards the things you want! 🙂
